Important Notice: Franchise Tax Board Letter
Dear Clients,
.
In 2016, Capata was required to re-register on the Franchise Tax Board‘s website to be able to assist our clients in the preparation of their California income tax returns. Please understand we routinely visit the Tax Board website to confirm all information before finalizing any tax returns. Should a problem arise with your income tax returns, our professionals need to access your tax information to properly resolve the issue. Ultimately, the Franchise Tax Board has the responsibility to protect your identity; therefore, we have now been informed that our clients may receive a letter from the Franchise Tax Board notifying you that we have the ability to access your account. Please do not be alarmed by the notice. When in doubt, or if you have any questions, please contact our office.
We appreciate your understanding in regards to this matter. Please be informed that the confidentiality of your tax information is of utmost importance to us.
Thank you,
